 DR. MICHAEL D. RIGBY, D.O.

We offer Sports Medicine that is centered around you as the patient. If you are in pain or injured, let’s get started.

Rigby Performance Medicine offers the latest in medical care to prevent, evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate injuries for both recreational and competitive athletes of all ages. We also help people with active lives who sometimes suffer the same injuries and need the same care.

WHY A SPORTS MEDICINE PHYSICIAN?

Sports Medicine Physicians are doctors of medicine with significant specialized training in both the treatment and prevention of illness and injury. They are ideally suited to provide comprehensive medical care for athletes, sports teams, or active individuals who are simply looking to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Knowledge gained from treating athletes applies just as well to the treatment of non-athletes. Because the overall success of sports medicine involves returning a patient to the highest level of function, it can easily be applied to the treatment of those who are injured from car accidents, avid amateur athletics, and injuries common with the aging process such as arthritis and sprains.

What we offer

We offer are a range of treatments, therapies, and exercise prescriptions that can help with the injury or pain you’re feeling and develop a plan on how to prevent these afflictions in the future.

patient quotes

Dr. Rigby is the best sports medicine doctor I have seen in my 30+ years as a competitive athlete. He truly cared about getting me back to training as soon as possible. He walked me through each step of how he diagnosed the injury, how to treat the injury, and tips for returning to sport. I was able to get an appointment quickly and his rates were extremely reasonable. The location is ideal with physical therapists in the same location.

Dr. Rigby has been my doctor for years. I have followed him to three offices, for his bedside manner, responsiveness, and the great care he provides. His nurse, Brandi, is also personable and responsive. I recommend this office to friends and family regularly.

Dr Rigby is an excellent Physician he was with out a doubt one of the most truly caring Dr. I have met in a long time. He always takes the extra time, I never feel rushed and he answers all my questions . He will even ask if he can answer any other questions I may have, i mean when was the last time you had a doctor ask you that ? With out his help I would still be in excruciating pain. It has been a long time since I came across a Dr that didn’t just wanted to write a script and make me go away after spending 5 minutes in the room. This man cares for his Patients wellbeing. I Revere him to all my friends and family and you will to. And his assistant Brandi is an excellent professional always smiling and super sweet. Thank you both for making me feel so much better.
